Referral Process....
We are committed to providing strength-based, family-centered services that recognize the family as the child's first and most influential teacher. Â By partnering with parents to develop the most useful and efficient service coordination plan, it is the hope of the Council that the needs of families and children will be met.
Referrals can be initiated by any agency or any family voluntarily seeking services. Â All referrals will be directed to the Meigs County Family and Children First Coordinator.
How can I Make a Referral?
A parent or guardian may access service coordination for their child through any Family and Children First member agency or by calling the Council Coordinator. Â Agencies referring families to Service Coordination must have a signed Authorization for Release of Information and a completed Referral Packet prior to the initial meeting. Â An initial meeting will be scheduled within seven days of the parent's voluntary referral.
